If you heard of Arch Linux distribution and want to use it because of its features, but you can't at this moment because you are still a newbie, we are glad to let you know that there are three distributions based on Arch Linux distribution that will make your use of the Arch more accessible to end users, and in this post we list:

LXDE is a free desktop environment for Unix and other POSIX platforms, such as Linux or BSD . The name stands for " Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment ".LXDE X11 Desktop Environment uses Openbox as default manager and it aims to provide a lightweight and fast desktop based on independent components that can be used in other environments.
! Well, in my case, I have to say that for me is the best desktop environment other than openbox , of course , if they like what it light : b .

1: Lubuntu

 

based on debian / ubuntu, the best distro for me until I get to the 13.10 version u_u ... but I'm not one to say that , Lubuntu is an Ubuntu variant fast distribution , lightweight and energy saving using desktop LXDE (Lightweight X11 desktop Environment). Is thought to have undemanding system requirements and is designed primarily for netbooks , mobile devices and older PCs . in my case I recommend it 100 % for netbooks.

2: LXLE


debian / lubuntu Based distro , recommended for desktop , lightweight and easy to use based on presenting Lubuntu LXDE desktop environment . Compared to its source distribution , LXLE has a number of unique features : It is built from the editions of Ubuntu LTS ( versions of long term support ) , covers the daily needs of most users by providing a good selection of default applications and useful adds modifications and adjustments to improve performance and functions . I recommend it for family computer because it has a lot of programs.

debian / lubuntu Based distro, aims to be super quick and undemanding to system resources . Using Mozilla 's Prism technology Peppermint integrates seamlessly with web -based applications or in the cloud. Other features of the distribution include automatic updates, easy step by step installation , a neat and friendly user interface , and increased mobility by integrating directly with Cloud-based applications. For me It's the best stable lxde distro :) recommended .

Debian based distro is a bootable CD with a collection of GNU / Linux software, automatic hardware detection , and support for many graphics cards , sound , SCSO and USB devices and other peripherals. Knoppix can be used as a Linux shows , educational CD, rescue system , or be adapted and used as a platform for demonstration of commercial software products . No need to install anything on a hard disk. Because the fly decompression , the CD can have up to 2 GB of executable software installed on it. : D ,besides being super fast , and work on ANY pc: D.

Linux distro based on debian, and soon it will move to debian / ubuntu, the racial struggle to be as efficient in energy use as possible so that it can be used in low capacity computers recycled . In this post I will mention 5 best Linux distributions I have tested them myself and seemed to be the best distributions appropriate for beginners , and for advanced users Lot of distributions and versions I have tested , let me consider the following list of distributions as the best distributions usable appropriately for all categories :

1- Linux Mint

Linux Mint


Linux Mint distribution is based on Ubuntu ( and therefore a Ubuntu modified ) , but Mint makes it easy to use Ubuntu for the end user , because it contains a user-friendly interface and the process is very suitable for those who are coming from Windows , it is reserved for modern devices and old ones , It comes with a version called MATE suitable for middle devices and old ones, and Cinnamon which is stylish and allocated to the modern machines. Out of the box, It comes with many applications, codecs, sources, easy updates, and quick access to the applications.

2- Elementary OS

Elementary OS

Elementary distribution is beautiful and very elegant , based on Ubuntu , it's the most beautiful Linux distribution , but is the most beautiful operating system in the world, It comes with Its own interface called Pantheon Shell , which is a mixture between the Mac and the special touch Merged effects lively , this beauty did not affect the smoothness and speed of the system, It is stable and smooth .

3- Pear OS

Pear OS is Imitation of Mac, based on Ubuntu , and the interface used is modified version of WingPanel  which is used in the distribution elementary that we have mentioned before and is called Pear Shell, the advantage of this distribution is to combine the simplicity and beauty , and specifically targeted to fans of Mac , it contains an app to clean the system and another to customize it.

Netrunner is Linux distribution with the KDE interface, It is the best distro based on Ubuntu that shapes with KDE, because its aim is to look so easy to use and convenient for the end user, It is featured by Its speed and easy to access everything on It, similar to Windows and very convenient for those who come from Windows .

5- Manjaro

Manjaro, distribution based on Arch, Where the role Manjaro is to It easy for using arch Linux, to make it suitable for the novice and steadily and the stability, it is user-friendly and high customization, Manjaro comes with XFCE and Openbox as the core ( We recommend that you choose XFCE).

Note : that we did not mention Ubuntu and that does not mean it's bad , but it is the source of all distributions that we have mentioned , except the last one , but these distributions mentioned workes to improve the usability of Ubuntu, so they make the best of It in Usability .

Luna distro comes with little customizations default , and in this lesson, we will explain the inclusion of some additions to look better distribution.

First: Add repository of the distribution and do the update :

sudo apt-add-repository ppa: versable / elementary-update
sudo apt-get update

Second, install the required tools :

1- Elementary Tweaks

Helps you to customize your system , install It by running the following command :

sudo apt-get install elementary-tweaks

2- additional backgrounds

sudo apt-get install elementary-wallpaper-collection

3- Add indicator-synapse for a quick search for applications and tools

sudo apt-get install indicator-synapse

It gives a Sleek, Smooth and Stable user experience on any computer. Out-of-the-box, It supports multimedia codecs and provides pre-installed applications on the OS.

Steam is pre installed on Makulu, as well as wine which is customized and enhanced to launch any windows application.

Chromium, is the web browser of MakuluLinux, highly configurable, It is configured with Adblock to block adverts on any website as well as flash videos, Web Caching to allow a user to not just browse with speed but also conserve bandwidth at the same time, Flareget offers multi-threaded downloads and catches links from inside chromium, Youtube tools will allow you to download videos at your finger tips.


The big Chief offers Xfce, Kde, and E17.. Xfce is the mean desktop which has more interest to work on.

Once It is installed, out-of-the-box supports  multimedia codecs and browser plugins, and It comes with a good selection of common applications with tweaked Gnome user interface with enhanced menus, panels and dockbars.
