Hotot is a lightweight twitter client, It is an open source application writing in Python, which is also considered a micro-blogging desktop that allows to manage activities in twitter.
According to WebUpd8, Hotot gained many votes in a poll published on their website that made it the "Best Linux Twitter Client" against four Linux Twitter clients; namely Gwibber, Pino, Turpial, and Choqok.
