Amigurumi Hello Kitty Free Pattern

 

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article, I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials

• Yarn, 8/4 100% cotton (50g/170m, superfine) in three colors: white for the main body, light pink, and dark pink
• 2 mm hook
• 6 mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Needle
• Pins
• Fiber filling

Abbreviations

• (sc): Single crochet
• (BO): Hazelnut stitch
• (ml)/(ch): Chainette, Air stitch
• (MR): Magic ring
• (dim)/(dec): decrease
• (augm)/(inc): increase
• (M)/(st): Stitch
• (FLO): work only in front loops
• (BLO): work only in back loops
• (d-dc)/(tr): Double treble crochet
• (br)/(dc): Double crochet
• (dB)/(hdc): Half treble crochet
• (sl-st): Slip stitch
• (db)/(dtr): Double treble crochet
• (mct)/(tch): chain stitches to turn
• (3msm)/(sc3tog): 3 sc in the same stitch
• (Fo): Stop the thread
• (3 dc tog): 3 treble crochets together

Head

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: *inc x6 (12)
• Rnd 3: *1 sc, inc* x6 (18)
• Rnd 4: *2 sc, inc* x6 (24)
• Rnd 5: *3 sc, inc* x6 (30)
• Rnd 6: *4 sc, inc* x6 (36)
• Rnd 7: *5 sc, inc* x6 (42)
• Rnd 8-13: sc in each stitch (42)

Place eyes between R9-R10 with 6 sts apart.

• Rnd 14: *5 sc, dec* x6 (36)
• Rnd 15: *4 sc, dec* x6 (30)
• Rnd 16: *3 sc, dec* x6 (24)

Begin to firmly fill the head.

• Rnd 17: *2 sc, dec* x6 (18)

Fill in more as needed.

• Rnd 18: *1 sc, dec* x6 (12)

Finish with a sl st and fasten off, leaving a long thread to sew the head to the body.

Ears (make 2)

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR
• Rnd 2: *1 sc, inc* x3 (9)
• Rnd 3: *1 sc, inc* x3 (12)

Finish with a sl st and leave a long thread for sewing onto the head.

Arms (make 2)

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2-5: sc in each stitch (4 rounds)

Finish with a sl st and fasten off, hiding the end inside.

Legs (make 2)

• Rnd 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
• Rnd 2: *inc* x6 (12)
• Rnd 3-8: sc in each stitch (12)

For the 1st leg, finish with a sl st, chain 1, cut the yarn, and hide the end. For the 2nd leg, continue crocheting and connect both legs:

Body

• Rnd 9: sc in each stitch of the 2nd leg, then join to the 1st leg with 6 sc (24)

Switch to pink yarn and cut the white yarn.

• Rnd 10-11: sc in each stitch (24)
• Rnd 13-14: sc in each stitch (24)
• Rnd 15: *2 sc, dec* x6 (18)
• Rnd 16: *1 sc, dec* x6 (12)

Make Skirt

• Rnd 1: ch 2, dc in each stitch around, finish with a sl st
• Rnd 2: ch 2, sl st in each stitch, finish with a sl st and weave in ends

Assembly

Pin and sew the ears onto the head at 3 points. Pin the arms where the head and body meet and sew them in place.

For the face, embroider the lips below the eyes with two stitches. Add a bow with hot glue, if desired, and stitch three whiskers on each side of the face.

Bow Tie for Mr. Head

Chain 3, make 2 treble crochets, 3 sl sts in the same chain, chain 3, and repeat.
