Amigurumi Parrot Free Pattern

 

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors, I wanted to share the free amigurumi patterns for you here. In my article I will share 1 pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will share amigurumi patterns that can generate ideas for you.

Materials and Tools

• Cotton/acrylic yarn (for eyes)
• Plush yarn (main)
• Hooks 2.5 mm and 3.5 mm
• Eyes for toys
• Filler for toys
• Needle for sewing details
• Scissors

Conventions

• KA – amigurumi ring
• vp – air loop
• ss – connecting column
• ps – half-column
• sc – single crochet
• ssn – double crochet
• pr – increase
• ub – beauty
• (…) хn – repeat n times

Eyelids (2 parts)

Cotton or acrylic yarn, hook 2 mm:

1: 6 ch close in a sl-st ring, 3 ch lifts, 17 dc (18)

2: (2 prs, inc) х 6 (24)

Leave the end of the thread for sewing the part.

Body

We follow the marker of the beginning of the row, it should be in the center of the back, if necessary, we knit an offset loop (it is not included in the total count of loops according to the scheme). Plush yarn, hook 3.5 mm.

1: ch 2, in the second loop from the hook we knit 6 sc (6)

2: 6 inc (12)

3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)

5: 24 sbn

6: (inc, 3 sbn) x 6 (30)

7-8: 30 sbn

9: 25 sbn, 7 ch, (in the 2nd loop from the hook sbn, then we knit along the chain: sbn, ps, 2 dc, ps), sb at the base of the 25th sb, 5 sb (31)

10: 6 sb, 7 ch, (into the 2nd loop from the hook sb, then we knit along the chain: sb, ps, 2 dc, ps), sb at the base of the 6th sb, 5 sb, 4 dec, 6 sb, take the wing connected in the 9th row to yourself, 6 sb (28)

11: 6 sb, take the wing connected in the 10th row, on yourself, 22 sc (28)

13: 24 sc, sc knit, capturing the 7th ch of the wing, 3 sc (28)

After completing the 16th row, we knit, taking the 2nd and 3rd feather of the tail towards ourselves, sc and ss. We transfer the marker of the beginning of the row to the left, to the knitted 2 columns.

17: (knit behind the back walls of the loops of the 16th row) 3 sc, (dec, 5 sc) х 3, dec, 2 sc (24)

After completing the 17th row, we make out the toy.

Assembling and Decorating Toys

We fasten the eyes between 6 and 7 rows. We sew the eyelids with the left thread. We embroider a beak:

With a thread of the 1st color, we outline a triangle with a lower vertex in the 11th row, grabbing up 4 rows. We fasten the thread from the wrong side.

With a thread of the 2nd color, we make 3 horizontal stitches along the top of the beak, while the entry and exit points of the needle are one row below the edge of the beak. We fasten the thread from the wrong side.

We stuff the toy not very tightly, the lower part of the toy should remain flat. We continue to knit the body.

We tighten the hole, hide the tip of the thread.
