Materials
- Yarn Alize Bella 100% cotton 180m/50g. Grey and red colors ~30g.
- Crochet hook №1.5
- Yarn «IRIS» «Gamma» beige color, crochet hook №1 (for nose)
- Textured yarn “Soft” (for the edge of mittens) - 5g, needle
- Thin cotton thread in a contrasting color (for the marker of the beginning of the row)
- Strong threads to match the yarn (for cap sewing)
- Wool for felting (combed ribbon) of white color for beard
- Needle for felting No. 38 “star” or sewing thread
- Filler
- Metal granulate (for the stability of the toy)
- A small piece of cardboard, glue
- Decorations for the cap (optional)
Abbreviations
- sc – single crochet
- MR – magic ring
- Dec – decrease (crochet 2 sc together)
- inc – increase (crochet 2 sc into the 1 loop of the previous row)

CROCHET GNOME AMIGURUMI FREE PATTERN
Legs (boots) (Make 2)
Crochet with the red color
- 1st row: 5 sc into MR
- 2nd row: 5 inc = 10
- 3rd row: (inc, 4 sc) x 2 = 12
- 4-6th rows: 12 sc (3 rows). Fill the detail, but not tightly.
- 7th row: Fold the part in half and crochet 6 sc for both walls = 6. Cut the thread, fix, and hide it.
Arms (Make 2)
We start crocheting mittens (red).
We crochet the thumb first.
- 1st row: 5 sc into MR
- 2nd row: 5 sc. Cut the thread (We will crochet the thumb to the mitten later). Crochet the second one in the same way.
Now, we crochet the mitten in red color. The marker goes to the side of the detail.
- 1st row: 5 sc into MR
- 2nd row: inc, 2 sc, inc, 1 sc = 7
- 3rd row: inc, 2 sc, inc, 3 sc = 9
- 4th and 5th rows: We crochet the thumb.
- 4th row: 4 sc, 1 sc together with the thumb, 4 sc = 9
- 5th row: 3 sc, dec (crochet 1 sc of the mitten and 1 sc of the thumb together), 2 sc on the thumb, dec (crochet 1 sc of the mitten and 1 sc of the thumb together), 3 sc = 10
- 6th row: 10 sc
- Change red thread to the grey.
- 7th row: crochet b/l – 10 sc
- In the 7th row, for the left loops, fasten the white thread “Softy”. Sew with a textured yarn needle through the remaining loops on row 7. Repeat in the opposite direction. Cut the thread, hide.
- 8-13th row: 10 sc (6 rows)
- 14th row: Fold the arm in half, crochet 5 sc on both sides of the loop = 5
- We don’t fill the arms.
Nose
Yarn «Iris» «Gamma» beige color, crochet hook №1. The yarn for crocheting the nose should be thinner in 2 times than the base yarn.
- 1st row: 6 sc in MR
- 2nd row: 6 inc = 12
- 3rd row: (inc, 1 sc) x 6 = 18
- 4th row: (2 sc, inc) x 6 = 24
- 5-7th rows: 24 sc (3 rows)
- 8th row: (2 sc, dec) x 6 = 18
- 9th row: (2 sc, dec) x 6 = 12
- Cut the thread. Fill up the nose with filler.
Body and Head
We knit the part from the bottom up. The marker goes down the middle of the back. We follow the marker, align, crocheting offset loops (Ofl).
With grey color:
- 1st row: 6 sc in MR or 2 ch, 6 sc into the 2nd loop from the crochet hook = 6
- 2nd row: 6 inc = 12
- 3rd row: (1 sc, inc) x 6 = 18
- 4th row: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) x 5, 1 sc = 24
- 5th row: (3 sc, inc) x 6 = 30
- 6th row: 2 sc, inc, (4 sc, inc) x 5, 2 sc = 36
- 7th row: (5 sc, inc) x 6 = 42
- In the next row, we crochet the legs. We crochet the entire 8th row behind the back wall of the loop.
- 8th row: 13 sc, 6 sc with the leg together, 4 sc, 6 sc with the second leg together, 13 sc = 42
- Cut a circle out of cardboard that is smaller in diameter than the base of the dwarf. Try it on.
- 9-10th row: 42 sc
- After the 10th row, glue the circle.
- 11-22nd row: 42 sc (12 rows)
- In the next row, we crochet arms:
- 23rd row: 7 sc, 5 sc together with the arm, 18 sc, 5 sc together with the second arm, 7 sc = 42
- 24th row: (5 sc, dec) x 6 = 36
- 25-26th row: 36 sc (2 rows)

- Add the weighting agent. Fill the body with filler.

- Add the filler.

- Cut the thread, pull off the loops. Hide the tip of the thread.
Hat
We do not follow the marker. We crochet in red.

Beard
Roll or sew felting wool to the body around row 27. Carefully comb the beard and style it. Sew the nose on. Put on the cap, and sew it to the body. Decorate the cap to your taste if desired.
