Hi there! Today I’m sharing a cute plush teddy dog amigurumi pattern designed by Victoria Timofeeva. With this free crochet pattern, you can make an adorable plush dog step by step.

The finished amigurumi dog measures approximately 29-30 cm. Many thanks to Victoria Timofeeva and @blue_bunny_toys for this lovely design.

Materials

• LaVita Velur yarn – 1 skein of the main color plus a little extra
• You can also use a similar plush yarn of approximately 100 g / 120 m
• Black YarnArt Jeans yarn for the muzzle and nose details
• Fiberfill / stuffing
• 12 mm safety eyes
• 4 mm crochet hook for the toy
• 2 mm crochet hook for the nose
• Sewing pins
• Scissors
• Needle for sewing pieces and embroidering the face
• Strong thread for sewing the pieces together
• Knitting needles or pins for positioning the head
• Stitch marker

Fold the ear in half and crochet 6 sc through both sides. Fasten off and cut the yarn.

Nose

Leave a long yarn tail at the beginning so you can later embroider the line below the nose.

Next, make 1 ch and crochet around the edge: 5 sc along the first side, 1 sc in the base, and 5 sc along the second side.

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Tail

Fasten off. If needed, leave a long yarn tail for sewing the head onto the body.

Assembly

Shape and tighten the face as needed to create the desired expression.

Embroider the eyebrows and eyelids.

Sew the nose securely to the muzzle and use the long starting yarn tail to embroider the line below the nose.

Sew the ears to both sides of the head.

Sew the head securely to the body. Strong nylon thread can be used for extra durability.

Check that all pieces are firmly attached and weave in any remaining yarn ends.
