• Color: Earth and Sky (69005)
• 6 balls or approximately 187 yds/171 m
• Size U.S. U/50 (25 mm) Susan Bates® Luxite® crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Susan Bates® yarn needle

Measurements

Approximately 40" x 48" [101.5 x 122 cm].

Gauge

2.5 hdchb [half double crochet (hdc) in horizontal bar] and 2 rows = 4" [10 cm].

Abbreviations

• Approx = Approximately
• Beg = Beginning
• Ch = Chain(s)
• Hdc = Half double crochet
• Hdchb = Work 1 hdc into horizontal bar created below stitch in previous row. The bar is below the loops normally worked on the wrong side.
• Rep = Repeat
• RS = Right side
• St = Stitch

Notes

• Blanket is worked from side to side.
• Chain (ch) 2 at the beginning (beg) of a row does not count as a stitch.

Foundation Chain: Ch 32.

1st Row (RS): 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 30 hdc.

2nd Row: Ch 2. 1 half double crochet in horizontal bar (hdchb) in each hdc to end of row. Turn.

3rd Row: Ch 2. 1 hdchb in each stitch (st) to end of row. Turn.

Repeat (rep) the 3rd row until the blanket measures approximately 40" [101.5 cm].

Fasten off.
