Crochet Tiger With Heart Free Pattern Amigurumi

 


Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors! I wanted to share some free amigurumi patterns with you here. In this article, I'll be sharing one pattern with instructions on how to make it. At the end, I’ll also include additional amigurumi patterns that can inspire new ideas for you!

Materials:

  • Himalayan yarn Dolphin Baby, color #80318 red (heart)
  • YarnArt Jeans yarn, color #23 (main color), white (for muzzle and legs), black (for scratches)
  • 2.0 mm and 3.5 mm hooks
  • 8 mm safety eyes
  • 14 mm safety nose
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
  • Stuffing

Tiger Legs (Make 2)

Using white yarn:

  • R 1: 6 sc in MR (6)

  • R 5: 24 sc
  • R 6: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
  • Rows 7-10: 30 sc (4 rows)

Gently fill with stuffing. Fasten off.

Leg Caps (Make 2)

Using pink yarn:

  • R 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
  • R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
  • R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the leg cap onto the leg and embroider with black thread.

Arms (Make 2)

Using white yarn:

  • R 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
  • R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)
  • R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
  • Rows 4-5: 18 sc (2 rows)
  • R 6: (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)
  • Rows 7-8: 24 sc (2 rows)

Switch to orange yarn and continue:

  • R 10: (4 sc, dec) * 3 (15)
  • Rows 11-15: 15 sc (5 rows)

Fill only the lower part of the arm. Flatten the upper part and single crochet across both sides to close. Embroider claws and stripes with black thread.

Muzzle

  • R 1: 6 sc in MR (6)

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Attach the safety nose two rows below the center.

Part 1:

Using white yarn in turning rows:

Fasten off.

Part 2:

Using orange yarn in turning rows:

  • R 1: 4 sc in MR, ch 1 to turn (4)

  • R 3: (1 sc, inc) * 4 (12)

Do not cut the yarn.

Place Part 1 and Part 2 together with orange side facing you and crochet together:

  • R 4: 12 sc
  • Turn and work across: 12 sl st

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Heart

Fill as you go.

Make 2 pieces:

  • R 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
  • R 2: (inc) * 6 (12)

Do not cut the yarn after completing the second piece.

Join the two pieces together:

  • R 5: 24 sc on 1st piece, 24 sc on 2nd piece (48)

Continue decreasing and stuffing until closed.

Assembly

  1. Sew the muzzle under the eyes between Rows 16 and 25, adding stuffing before closing.
  2. Embroider features: use a long needle with thread to define facial details as described.
  3. Sew ears onto the head around Rows 5-6.
  4. Embroider stripes, eyebrows, and other features with black thread.
  5. Attach the head, arms, and legs to the heart.
