Sew on the ears on the sides of the head.

You can tint a little with dry pastel where the eyes are located (I have tinting on the eyes, ears, and paws of the wolf).

We sew eyes (I have ordinary black sew-on eyes).

We draw eyelashes and eyebrows.

We sew the spout where the tightening on the muzzle is located.

We embroider claws on the paws. On the upper paws, draw the claws so that they seem to go into the paw (where the ss is made).

Hello amigurumi lovers and beautiful visitors! I wanted to share the free amigurumi pattern for you here. In this article, I will share one pattern and how to make it for you. At the end of my article, I will also share more amigurumi patterns that can inspire you.

Materials and Tools

  • Plush yarn: main color for the hare and additional color for the dress
  • Thread for embroidery muzzle
  • Hook: 4-4.5 mm
  • Eyes for toys
  • Filler for toys
  • Knitting markers
  • Dry pastel or blush
  • Needle for sewing details
  • Scissors

Conventions

  • KА – amigurumi ring
  • ss – connecting column
  • sc – single crochet
  • pr – increase
  • ub – beauty
  • ZРР – rear half-loop
  • (…) хn – repeat n times

Paws (2 parts)

  1. 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. 2-7. 6 sc (6)
  3. Fold the edges together and knit 2 sc for both edges of the foot. It is not necessary to fill (if using a 4-4.5 mm hook).

Legs (2 parts)

  1. 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. (1 sc, 1 inc) x 3 (9)
  3. 3-6. 9 sc – 4 rows (9)
  4. At the end of the connecting column, fasten the thread on the first leg and cut. For the second leg, do not cut it, but attach a contrasting thread and continue knitting the body.

Body

In the next sc on the leg, knit 1 sc of a bright color, ch 2, attach the first leg, 9 sc along the leg, then either:

  • (2 dec: (corner + loop on the chain) and (loop on the chain + corner) – this is for more tight knitting in this place, holes often form here),
  • Or just 2 sc along the chain (as usual when connecting the legs on such toys).

Then 9 sc along the second leg, 2 sc along the chain. Place a marker!

  1. 22 sc in a circle (22)
  2. 22 sc for ZPP (rear half-loop) – for the free half-loops we will knit a skirt (22)
  3. 22 sc (22)
  4. 22 sc (22)
  5. 4 sc, 1 dec, 3 sc, 1 dec, 4 prs, 1 dec, 3 prs, 1 dec (18)
  6. 18 prs (18)
  7. (4 prs, 1 dec) x 3 (15)
  8. (3 prs, 1 dec) x 3 (12)
  9. (2 sc, 1 dec) x 3 (9)
  10. Stuff legs and body. We knit the paws clearly on the sides.

  11. I got: 2 sc, 2 sc together with the foot, 3 sc, 2 sc together with the foot + 1 sc offset (9). If you can’t tie the foot clearly on the side by the first value, first make one offset loop and continue to knit according to the scheme. At the end of the row, do not make an offset loop.

Head

Change the color of the thread to light and knit 9 inc (18).

  1. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
  2. (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
  3. (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
  4. Align the marker exactly in the center of the bunny (focus on the neck and back) and knit:

  5. 8 sc, 10 dec from pssn, 8 sc (26)
  6. 26 sc (26)
  7. 26 sc (26)
  8. Align marker in the center and knit: 7 sc, 1 dec, 8 sc, 1 dec, 7 sc (24)
  9. (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
  10. (1 sc, dec) x 6 (12)
  11. Insert eyes 9 mm between 17 and 18 rows at a distance of 4-5 sc. Fill the head.

  12. Close the hole in the head with reductions to the very end. At the end, fix the thread and hide it inside the head.

Skirt

Return to the 3rd row of the body and find the free front half loops. Turn the bunny upside down and knit for half loops according to the scheme:

  • 2 ch lifts (1 time), 3 sc in each half loop to the end of the row, at the end of the sl-st with the beginning of the row.

Here we will knit the harness, repeating the sequence to the end of the row: {3 ch, 1 sc through one column of the previous row} – repeat to the end of the row. As a result, loops will appear along the edge of the skirt.

Ears (2 parts)

  1. 6 sc in KA (6)
  2. 6 inc from pssn (12)
  3. 3-5. 12 hdc (12) – 3 rows
  4. (2 hdc, 1 dec from hdc) x 3 (9)
  5. 7-8. 9 pssn (9) – 2 rows
  6. (1 pssn, 1 dec from pssn) x 3 (6)
  7. 6 pssn (6)
  8. Knit 2 pssn for both edges of the eyelid, leave the long end of the thread for sewing.

  9. Sew on the ears in the area of the third row on top of the head.

Bow

  1. Dial a chain of 3 ch.
  2. In the second loop from the hook, knit 3 dc, in the next also 3 dc, and connect the sl-st with the beginning of knitting.
  3. Leave the long end of the thread and wrap it around the middle of the part to make a figure eight. Fasten the end of the thread with the thread from the beginning of knitting, then sew the bow to the head of the bunny with the same long thread. Fix the threads, hide inside the head, cut off the excess.

Making and Tightening the Muzzle

In order for the muzzle of the bunny to become expressive, you need to make tightenings. There will be two pulls. We will tighten the area of the eyes and cheeks.

The eye area is tightened like this (see photo): we insert a needle with a thread in the mouth area (1-2 rows above the neck), we bring it out at point A, we enter it at B, we bring it out at C, we insert it at D, we bring it out there in the mouth area. We pull the threads, the muzzle is pulled. We tightly tie the threads and hide them inside the head.

To tighten and form the cheeks, you need to insert a needle with a thread in the mouth area, bring it out in the nose area (the point is on the same line with points A and D in the middle), throw the thread outside the head perpendicularly down and insert it again into the mouth area, bring it out again to the nose area, pull to form cheeks, tie the threads tightly in a knot in the mouth area, and hide the threads inside the head. Cheeks are ready.

Finishing Touches

After doing the tightening, embroider the spout with a pink cotton thread, or with a floss thread. Then embroider eyelashes, eyebrows, and a stripe between the cheeks of the bunny with a black thread.

The very last touch will be to blush the cheeks with blush or pastel!

Hello everyone…

One of the free amigurumi crochet patterns we will share today is the amigurumi hedgehog, whose design belongs to Adorastudio. You can learn how to crochet this cute hedgehog using the free amigurumi pattern. Thanks to dear Pauline for this adorable hedgehog.

Below you will find some information about this pattern. Remember, if you have any problems, you can write to us and ask for help. You can also follow our Pinterest account for free amigurumi patterns and great amigurumi ideas. Have fun!

Materials

  • Hook 2.5mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Pins
  • Scissors
  • Stitch markers
  • For eyes: black embroidery thread
  • For nose: embroidery thread or a safety eye 5-6mm
  • Fiberfill

Yarn

  • Gazzal Baby Cotton (Beige 3437) for the head
  • Phildar Phil Cotton 3 (101) or DMC Wool Chic (112) for the body

The result may depend on the gauge and the size of your hook. You can adapt the size of your hook according to your way of working: if you crochet tightly, use the recommended hook or a larger one. Conversely, if you are used to crocheting rather loosely, get a smaller hook. Using the threads recommended in the tutorial allows you to obtain a result similar to the original model.

  • Slst – slip stitch
  • Dc – double crochet
  • Dc dec – double crochet decrease

Details and Embroidery

Feel free to use a few pins to help with positioning.

Face Embroidery

First, place two pins on round 10, then one slightly above, slightly offset, and then one more pin further off to the side to form a small pointed hat shape.

Using thread of your choice, embroider a little muzzle on the upturned part of his little nose. Alternatively, you can insert a small safety nose (5-6mm).
